Eileen Obser

Welcome!

As a writer, a teacher, and as an editor, I am hoping to connect with
kindred spirits through this website.  It's also my way to stay in touch
with my students, past and present, and with writing colleagues,
agents and editors.  I want to know what you are doing, what you are
writing and publishing, and wish to keep you informed of my own
doings.

NEWS TO SHARE:

My memoir, Only You, has just won a memoir contest and will be
published by Oak Tree Press, a small, traditional press based in the
midwest.  The book may be out as soon as fall 2013; I'll keep you
informed.  I have been asked by the same press to write a guide on
memoir writing, which I will do.  My
Newsletter will give you more
details in the coming months.

Contact me and let me know if you want to see other information on
this website that may be useful to you and to others.

Please read my
Bio, Facts of (My) Life, Teaching, and Read my
Work.  These categories should tell you everything you want to know
and more about this teacher/writer person, Eileen.

Under
Read My Work you will find my personal essay "Words,
Glorious Words", which says it all about why and how I became a
writer.  I hope you'll look for it.

I add newly published material and update a
Newsletter periodically
that has news about my
Teaching and my students. Check the Links,
too, which you may find useful.
